Afternoon Hike

To say we are surrounded by beautiful scenery here in Albuquerque would be a gross understatement. This picture is evidence of that.

I often talk about taking a walk to get my daily shot at lunchtime and here is one of the places I walk. Looks seriously off the beaten path, doesn't it? Actually, it isn't. The sidewalk is just off to the left, but I thought that this little slice of the landscape had that rough and rugged feel to it, so it became my shot for today.
