Tay Estuary

A lovely day today and my first full day out in ages. I met up with a close friend at the Riverside Nature Park in Dundee and we had a great walk in sunny, warm weather. This view is of the Tay Estuary looking towards Invergowrie, an area which is a haven for wading and other seabirds. We were entertained by two light aircraft practising take-offs and landings at the nearby airport, but sadly my attempts to film them were rubbish!

Our walk was followed by a light lunch and then a spot of retail therapy before heading for home as the rain clouds were rolling in. I'm now totally exhausted, but really enjoyed my day out.
