The Green Parrot Place

Here's Cathy relaxing after lunch in one of our favourite Bydgoszcz hang-outs - the Green Parrot Place. I'm not sure what it's real name is, but we named it ourselves after the beautiful parrots painted on the ceiling.

A walk along the river brought us to one of the best exhibitions I have seen so far in Poland - Etnodesign. Beautiful 'folkart' from Poland through the ages, right up to the present day. Inspiring!

A delicious chocolate soufflé at another one of our favourite places (Veranda I think it's called)... then the bus to Ostromecko for an afternoon of opera singing.
