Parents' evening: It's a little like speed dating

An evening on the other side of the table- it was A's parents' evening and I was only allowed to ask sensible questions- but not too many.

Could I read between the lines- most definitely....

Were the staff keen to move people on- certainly....

Did I feel sorry for the teachers who got into school at 7am this morning and wouldn't leave till 8pm as they had OFSTED in today- and tomorrow? Absolutely....
