Long Shadow of History

A day of demonstrations and commemorations. At one end of Liberty Square about 500 people attended a wreath laying at the Soviet war memorial, a photo of which you will see on May 6th. Then, at the other end of the Square, as I was returning from paying my bills, I noticed the demonstrators walking round the site of the monument to the German occupation of Hungary. The sunshine made lovely shadows....
