A Room With a View

Arrived quite late at the Cluanie Inn in Glen Sheil. All we had time to do was have dinner, and sample some of the amazing whiskies. This was some 10 year old Glenmorangie - the first whisky I ever tasted ( I was with Liz the 1st time 30 years ago, and I bought some on the ferry over to France ).
30 years on, it still tastes amazing!
The Inn nestles in the middle of the Glen, and there is no TV reception, although there is a TV, and a selection of DVDs you can borrow.
The view from our window was amazing but the hills were well covered in cloud.
We watched the travelling Willberries which Liz got me for my birthday (50 TODAY!!), although she also got me my new camera and flashgun!
Had a great day, and wished that Liz was feeling better and able to enjoy the place like I know she would.
Strangely, not missing seeing Dim Dawg in any way whatsoever.
A holiday in itself!
