My Father's Dog...
Down at my father's early today and with heavy rain forecast and imminently due, thought it wise to take Milo, a rescue Jack Russell for his walk on the Common first thing.
He adores and loves the mud and the wet - but my Aunt does not and goes bananas - as Milo doesn't seem to get the idea of wiping his paws, his belly, his, well everything!, before jumping up on the soft furnishings...
Here, I have caught him looking at something that caught his eye. He doesn't bat an eyelid at rabbits (plenty of those!), nor New Forest ponies, but definitely does sound out other dogs.
A low angle gives him a powerful and imposing stance and the long lens at open aperture throws the distant background nicely out of focus.
Straight out of camera jpeg uploaded here, for speed and simplicity. I have promised a couple of prints to be made for the family sideboard - they like this image very much, as do I. Milo himself failed to give a decisive opinion on his own portrait...
I will be busy here until I return home, later.
