Long, Long Day
Up, dressed and into Woking for a 'Poppins' cooked breakfast before heading to Woking station.
Unusually we never drank on the train!! we arrived at Twickenham at around 11:30 ahead of the Farnborough contingent in lovely warm sunshine we set about the stocks of beer we had carried with us.
Once Gary and the rest turned up we set to with a will.
We were in the ground for kick off, Gary and I had two seats on our own and managed six pints in eighty minutes.
The match - The NAVY scored first and second which obviously annoyed the army who then brought on a few more South Sea Islanders, stepped up a gear and won comfortably.
We all met at the paving stone that has my Dads, mine and Gary's names engraved on it. More beer, the train to Woking, more beer, a meal in Namdos, more beer. Eventually back to Penny & James for coffee and some much deserved sleep.
