A Long Time Ago In A Land Far Away

Actually the photo was taken a long time ago as far as Samantha and Joshua are concerned, but in a land far away - well Beaumaris on The Isle Of Anglesy, I actually stayed in
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
and it was the start of my naval career, I guess the photo was taken in around 1968.
It's one of the few photographs I have of my Mum before she was confined to a wheelchair in 1971.

Anyway onto today, another productive day, left the place that pays me to drop Clare at Treliske, called in at Calenic farm butchery for the weeks meat shop, dropped it at home, not literally but placed it in the fridge.
Returned to the place that pays me to eat a peppered steak slice and drink coffee before leaving early to do my crossword in the school car park, collecting Joshua who proudly boasted that he hasn't walked home from school once this week.
Home bills paid, pocket money transferred to the childrens bank accounts, McDonalds for dinner, (1st Friday of the month), home, War Horse DVD for Joshua and I, Joshua now understands why his friend Bella gets 'emotional' whilst they read the story.
Amazon shopping completed, now waiting for the phone call to collect the very lovely Clare!
