10 Ducklings

MrsCyclops has had fairly stable blood pressure for the last few days, so they have allowed her to come home for the night. I'm under strict instructions to take her back immediately if she has any symptoms (of anything really) and to have her back in time for the doctors rounds in the morning.

As she is a well known fan of baby animals, we stopped at our local pond on the way home to see if we could see any ducklings. As we parked the car, a duck waddled past with 10 ducklings following in a neat line. We followed them down to the pond and watched them go for a rather less orderly swim...

MrsCyclops was craving proper pasta since the hospital stuff tends to be a bit soggy, so I did meatballs with tagliatelli and arrabbiata sauce for dinner.

Now we're both stuffed, but we're scoffing chocolate from our Easter eggs anyway. She's been in hospital since Easter and wanted to keep her eggs until she was home, so I have done the same out of solidarity!
