Car Headlight Bulb

Yesterday I tried to get one blown bulb replaced at Kwik-Fit while getting the winter tyres taken off. They said that it wasn't the bulb, as they put a new one in and it still didn't work. Today I called out an auto electrician as advised, and paid a huge sum to have him look at it and replace the bulb, which immediately worked. So either it's an intermittent fault or Kwik-Fit missed something. In either case, this bulb was most definitely blown.

It was quite pleasant to work from home today, and then pop into town this evening to catch up with a friend from California - and get some useful advice too.
