Props
An enjoyable morning, playing around with cameras taking portraits.
Despite most teenager's enthusiastic propensity to point a camera at any reflective surface for the sake of selfie, asking them to do the same with something bigger and more camera-like (like a camera) tends to send them hiding behind their hoodies. So, we tried brining in some props to give them something else to focus on, even though the most they could stretch to was a packet of fags and a pair of sunglasses. Did the trick though, along with a big blindingly bright bicycle light I had lying around, and managed a few slightly less self conscious looking shots for a bit of heavy duty editing back in class.
Props to these two (again) for letting me use them as blip subjects, in lieu of having photographed anything else today.
