I spent much of today converting old video to DVD. It takes quite a long while, for two reasons. 1. The videos are of the kids when they were little, and so I get a bit absorbed watching them and remembering what they were like when they were small. 2. The package I use isn't the best and crashes every now and again. It wasn't too bad today, much better than previous times I've used it, but it still slows me down quite a bit. I guess that maybe the laptop isn't quite up to the job either, but it's all I've got. Anyway, I'm now about halfway through the video tapes so I'm gradually getting there. But as I don't often get the time to do it, it will probably be another year before it's all finished!
