Garden Time

Back helping Brenda in her garden this afternoon. We've both been away for a while, as she has become a proud grandmother and has been spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and baby. Our task for today was to build her new rose arch - which proved almost as challenging as one of the team-building exercises we did during Residential Week!

But after some puzzling over the instructions, we assembled the structure, got it in position, made holes for the legs - only to hit concrete about 8 inches down! So that will have to be dug out before the job can be completed. Still, it will look very impressive once it is up and has the rose trained over it - yet another blipfoto for another day.
