The Barrier

Another great family breakfast, in Cambridge this time. Outside, fresh fruits and berries, chocolate croissants - yum!

Then into the car after lunch and back north again, this time back to the airport. Then onto a plane (small one - 9 seats in fact and I was in the co-pilots seat!) and out to Great Barrier Island, this time to celebrate Christmas with Hilarys dad and the other other side of the family ;-)

Absolutely divine to be back in the bay where we have spent probably the last 10 Christmas's. Awesome weather, warm, no wind. Perfect for outdoor dining, the beach, and the occasional cold wine or beer.
