Rescued orchid

A few weeks ago this orchid was on its way to the bin at work because its flowers had wilted and it could not be sold anymore. The plant itself was still doing well though so I asked if I could take it home. One of the remaining buds appears to have survived and has developed into this lovely flower.

For more than one reason I needed an easy blip today and I chose this orchid.
