Grandad came for Sunday lunch... Xx
Once we were all up and 'breakfasted' this morning, we went to Sainsburys and ended up buying lots of lovely food to have my dad round for Sunday lunch to continue his birthday weekend celebrations. Our shop included a big joint of beef, goose fat for home made roasties and 2 desserts, bread and butter pudding and apple pie, Mmmmmmm. Eva loved sitting in the trolley and swinging her feet and looking all around.
After Eva's sleep, she played with her toys with Mike and my dad, while I prepared dinner.
Eva absolutely loved her dinner. I even made homemade Yorkshire puddings, so Eva got her first sample of Yorkshires. It's safe to say she enjoyed them. She loved the home made roast potatoes too, rather than the Aunt Bessie's ones I usually do. Think I'll definitely stick to homemade from now on. The pic on the right today shows a section of Eva's dinner, she ate the lot, lol.
Talk about clever.... For a short while now, Mike has been tapping Eva's chest and saying "Eva" then tapping his own chest and saying "and Daddy". Eva has today started tapping her own chest and saying "Daddy" when she wants, or is referring to, her Daddy. I wondered why she was tapping her own chest and saying "Daddy", then Mike figured it out and told me what he'd been doing. So now we have to start doing it the other way round so if she taps her own chest she says "Eva". So cute though. Xxx
