Romantic ruin
On the way home from Oban this afternoon I took the Lerags road on the north side of Loch Feochan to collect some timber from a supplier. The afternoon had turned out sunny after a damp, dull morning - I'd decided to move some clumps of Primula pulverulenta, so of course the sun then came out - so I thought I'd Blip the old church at Kilbride, but by the time I returned along the road the weather had dulled down again, but with that hard white sky so hated by photographers!
So the pictures were not as good as I'd hoped, but here's one anyway. This church was first founded by St Bride in 525AD. Quite old then!
