Pretty in Pink

The Newhall Valley is thick with red campion at the moment, especially round the board walk. Might be common, but certainly pretty. Apparently, the seeds are good for snake and scorpion bites - don't see many of them round here...

Determinedly sat in the sunshine today and read "The Guardian" - Saturday's edition - not had time to look at it yet.
