May sky

I was over at Barton Marina to listen to a lecture on Italian Gardens this afternoon. The roads had been horrendous earlier in the day (lots of holdups and problems) so I went early.

There is nothing so attractive as fluffy white clouds, moving through a blue, blue sky - and I rather liked the way this photo ended up.

The lecture ?
A wonderful, truly eccentric and excellent Italian lady who communicated her passion and understanding of Renaissance Italian gardens with great style and stunning photos.

She was also hilarious. Luckily I was right at the back and when two (nice) complete strangers and I dissolved into helpless giggles, we had the luxury of darkness... I hope she comes back again soon.
