Wet peony

A fabulous day out, with Needwood NADFAS.

We started with a visit to Croome Park where we had a marvellous guide who really got us into the spirit of the house and the family.

Then, after lunch, we headed for Hanbury Hall - less clear guiding but a super place to visit.

Weather was very mixed - with us managing to do the necessary walks in the barely dry and having coffee or tours while it really bucketed it down.

Late sunlight in the garden meant that this peony was still soaked, but looking very good.
