Mono Monday: Selfie

I played around with the self-timer settings. At first I wanted a picture where I was moving, perhaps to show it was a self-timer shot and perhaps to hide my face! Those didn't work out too well, so I am hiding my face with my Eddie Bauer hat. My wife says I look like Captain Beefheart - which I take as a compliment.

It's interesting that some of us choose to hide from selfies - or that we are embarrassed and pull strange faces (my family photo album has me gurning throughout). As my understanding of the Three Principles grows I realize that ego is just thought - and thoughts come and go. We literally make ourselves up from thought to thought. It's worth thinking about.
