Lots of birds, but still no Spitfire...

I know it was close by today as it was making an appearance at Abingdon...perhaps tomorrow.

Decided to try growing some runner beans in pots this year so have planted up 3 containers, the largest has grass cuttings in the bottom then horse manure then compost which I have planted the beans into..we'll see how they do.

C called to see her mum & my mum called over here bringing with her a fruit cake !

Lovely warm day but a bit cloudier than yesterday.
