Last day in Istanbul.
Daria and I took a 2 hour boat cruise around the Bosphorus Strait and thats was really nice (despite the INSANE amount of jellyfish in the water...I will never go near that water ever)It was very pretty and nice to be back near the water again. We decided to get off at the stop before out originally stop thinking that it wouldn't be much farther and wouldn't be a long walk to the nearest Metro Station.
After about an hour of walking, we realized we were wrong and hopped a bus back up to Taksim Square, accidentally for free since we didn't even figure out how to pay the driver didn't speak any English or Arabic. So, thanks for the free ride. :) Ooops!
After that we walked along Istikalal Street which is famous for its great stores and shopping and extremely crowded street. All of the above was true! It was a nice place to window shop and walk around a little bit.
After we were both tired and worn out, we headed back to our hotel and actually got a bit of Arabic homework done, since we are heading back tomorrow to Amman and have to get right back to the grind of Arabic class.
It was a very nice vacation, beautiful place and fantastic company with my lovely friend Daria!
