Confused...

May bank holiday yet it's more like an autumn day here. Dull, grey, cold, rain showers and leaves like This being blown in the front door.

Bit of a mish mash day. Alan off school but David was working. Ed came round and after lunch he took Alan into town for some girl people watching in the local cafe.

Billy, the big boss of the painters, popped in to get a note of the colours for the Gin Palace. Willow outside and cream tea inside. "You're painting the inside?!" he exclaimed. When I replied in the affirmative he said "jeez, the rumour must be true. David is moving into it!" Now there's an idea ;-))

Stepdad John arrived and tempted me into having an Empire biscuit with my cup of tea. He is officially A Bad Man.

David's home from work in a bad mood as he dropped his iPhone down the loo at lunchtime. Don't ask. Suffice to say it's fecked no longer working.

Dinner almost ready and in keeping with the Autumnal theme we are having beef stew, creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. There might even be some sticky toffee pudding for afters. That should cheer D up.
