An Unexpected Turn...

I had today pretty much mapped out. D off to work, A off to school. Me holed up in the study sorting through all the crappy paperwork / phone calls etc that I've been ignoring. And I made a reasonable start.

Then the postman arrived with an unexpected parcel. Oooo exciting :-)) And it is! :-))

Inside was a copy of my Blip (and now real life) pal Sleepyhead's photography book - Beyond the Yellow Brick Road Vol 2, recording in photos and text, the second half of his amazing trip last summer to Australia. His photos are amazing and his text brings them even more to life. It's the closest thing to being there.

I am already lucky enough to have Vol 1 and enjoyed it immensely so I can't wait to get stuck into Vol 2.

So keen infact, I have ditched the paperwork, got myself a coffee and my calorie controlled afternoon choccy treatchoccy treat, so if anyone's looking for me, I'm the one snuggled on the couch, feet up, with a huge grin on my face.

Thank you Peter. You are a kind and generous friend and it's a privilege to have your lovely books not only to read, but to greatly enhance my coffee table :-)))
