Black Swans with Cygnets

A brief outing on a beautiful near-summer day, to the Parc Montsouris near us in Paris--first visit this year. I chatted with a park regular who had followed these black swans' nest on an island in the park's pond. The cygnets hatched 15 days ago after five weeks of brooding; a third never left the nest. I'm not sure whether we've ever seen black swans before at the park--they are native to Australia, and I don't know the specific status of these.
