Return to the plant

It's been a lovely Bank Holiday.

The day started with a pleasant swim, seeing lots of friends, although the pool was a bit full !

Then driving up to meet my brother and my sister and her family for lunch - catch up on the gossip and give my niece her birthday present.

And finally back home.

My garden was looking a bit messy and full of life. I've returned to this plant which we can't seem to be sure whether it's an Aquilegia, Columbine, or something else.

Whatever it is, it looks rather gentle and pretty
