Nearly there!

The 22 mile marker for the MK marathon is near to my house. I was walking up to the shops as some of the runners passed me on the redway. It was uphill and they were all beginning to flag. Lots of onlookers to give them encouragement.
On my return there were a few stragglers still coming. I said 'well done' to a very tired looking girl and she said thank you and burst into tears. I do hope she made it!
