The only plant in the garden which has not been battered by wind and rain today.
Had sad news yesterday - elderly friend in Devon died on Sunday.  She had a stroke about 7 weeks ago - celebrated her 91st birthday on 23rd April and then gave up the will to live - I was not surprised as she was fiercely independent - end of an era.
