Mistiness in May
This is our village church, taken from the top of the hill about two miles away.
A beautiful misty, sunny Sunday today, with warmth in the sunshine.
However, we went to a service held in a nearby village, where they were giving thanks for the restoration of their tower. The Archdeacon of Wells took the service, telling us how she had taken part in the celebrations at St Paul's Cathedral in London yesterday afternoon, which marked the 20 years since women were able to be ordained.
We treated ourselves to a Sunday lunch out, and then had a delightful time in the garden, sitting reading the papers!
The fine weather was too good to waste though, so after a cup of tea I got the hoe out again, and tackled some more weeds!
