Brissle went mad today!

Park Street - a mighty hill leading from the Cathedral up to the Wills Memorial building with the tower - is one of the main thoroughfares and shopping venues. It was closed off today to traffic so that an enormous water-slide from the top to below St George's Street could be used. The place was heaving with families and people with cameras but every one was is fine good humour for the sun shone again.

This weekend Brissle has hosted this slide, ''Any Questions', the beginning of some sort of long term food festival, dancing in Corn Street and the Antiques Road Show at Ashton Court is /has been/will be attended and filmed. There have been other things too but I am sure there are other blippers out there recording the activities
