It's been a miserable day here today. 5.5 mm of rain overnight, and about the same today. It's been grey, and drizzley, and misty.. Good job we got so much done yesterday..

Gave Tanni a good grooming today, and removed a tick. Shes had 5 or 6 so far this year. Dosed all the animals with "Spot on" to try and prevent them..

Rhubarb is growing well inside compost bins. This forces it out of the top, giving it nice long stems. 2 crowns are covered like this to give us some early cropping.. Answering your question L, slugs eat rhubarb, and there are reports on the internet of deer grazing it too. The leaves are poisonous to humans, so I'd have thought it wouldn't be too good for deer either..
