Morning Star

We went out with the Wadsley and Loxley Commoners this morning (5am) on a Dawn Chorus walk. This is the third time since Wednesday I have been up and out outrageously early. It was a great opportunity to learn about birdsong from an expert. I'm getting better at IDing birds by sight but I'm still rubbish at song. This Whitethroat was exceptionally visible so I had a quick chance of a shot with my middle range lens. I wonder if I'll be able to get up there with my longer one next week - we're having some more work done from Tuesday, so it might not be possible.
