Kelpies...

...late night excursion for us today to The Helix to witness the Home event.

Lot's and lots of interesting sights and sounds but these guys were always going to steel ;-) the show!

They are just magnificent. We have tickets booked for a few weeks time for the guided tour and the chance to get inside them...looking forward to that.

It was getting mighty cold as we finished our walk round the park. Made a wee put stop into the McDonalds on the way home and had some extremely disappointing hot chocolate:-(

Back home at 00:40 really late night for the Barmy Army but one I hope they remember and tell their grandchildren in years to come.
