Fake Flowers

Who would think that in the land of fresh flowers, which I buy for my wife at least twice a week for less than $3 USD a bunch, that fake flowers would ever be necessary. Busy restaurant's such as this one I passed think otherwise. At least they have utilized a something other than the cheap plastic kind. These are made by local artisans and are occasionally available for sale on the streets around our local mercado. In fact, I have been known to purchase some from time to time for my wife's various projects. I haven't yet seen any like the Chrysanthemums, but I will now be on the lookout as I prowl the streets.
