Gelato!

Nearly forgot to take a photo today. Our young guest spent most of the day getting in touch with people. He's here to work as a volunteer in the Rocinha favela, having just completed a stint in Marseilles - obviously likes a bit of excitement in his life. It seems to run in the family - his sister (my goddaughter) has done the same in Africa and is currently in Colombia.

I was painting a wardrobe in the attic and HH was glued to the computer, but we went down to a restaurant on the beach for dinner. The gelato place exercised its usual magnetic effect on the way home - well, one has to introduce guests to the best things in Rio.
