Mistle Thrush

I've not seen one of these for years! You hear them and the have such a distinctive song.
Because they always choose a high spot to sing from,it is very difficult to get a decent photo of one!
This one was some 40-50 feet up in the tallest Oak in the area.He was determined to be heard and heard he was but it took me half an hour to find him. And when I finally did,I just sat and listened,and listened! It was music to my soul and just a while I felt at peace with the world. A wonderful feeling for this old man.
