A different perspective on broad beans

Another, unpredicted, wet day today. A later visit to the gym owing to our bathroom tiles having to be regrouted after being replaced due to them cracking.

A hurried lunch followed by an even more hurried visit to the barbers for my spring shear. Then back home for a conference call with someone from California as well as in the UK about a learning environment, followed by a quick visit to the allotment to check that the potatoes weren't up as a frost was forecast for tonight. Found even more rubbish has been indiscriminately dumped on the site.

A nice evening though at the Kent Referrees' Society Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Pleasant, tasty food but not in overwhelming portions and good company on our table which meant that it was an enjoyable evening for Susan too.
