SHORT ROAD

It's been a gorgeous, sharp day.
A clear sky this evening promised a golden hour.
So i nipped out for the evening ritual
that has become part of my life.
It wasn't until I logged on
that I realised, what I thought would be a long road
was suddenly reaching another milestone.
It's funny how they creep up on you.
So a little reflection seemed in order.
No bells, ballons, whistles or fancy photoshop
Just fresh air and golden light.
