BREAK IN THE WEATHER
The Haar rolled back today
revealing serried ranks of cloud.
About 6.00pm they started to break
and a sunset became a possibility for the first time in days.
In the end it was quite dramatic as it radiated below the heavy cloud mass.
This was taken from Girdle Ness headland,
on the rocks below the lighthouse.
The tide was very low revealing the kelp beds in the surf
