Made it at long last. It has taken me long enough but despite my lack of daily dedication I have made it.

Having listen to the traffic reports on the local radio and the numerous accidents due to black ice we postponed our planned Boxing day trip and opted for a long walk (7miles) along the beach and through the woods at Formby on the Sephton Coast. The winter sunshine was lovely and the sea air should do my chest infection some good.
