Re-kindling a friendship!

These are the friends I visited today. I last saw them 18 years ago on holiday and we have exchanged Christmas cards and letters ever since. I thought it was time we met up again and they invited me to their house. It is only an hour away but I got hopelessly lost after leaving the motorway and hadn't keyed the sat nav in properly (if I had a brain I would be dangerous!) I found a Sainsbury's car park and rang for help. Fred arrived like a knight in shining armour to rescue me. He managed to recognise me and my car and he had told me what he was driving in case I was worried about being picked up by a strange man!. Jean had prepared a lovely lunch and we talked non-stop. Return journey was no trouble at all and I arrived home within the hour. Promised not to leave it another 18 years! They are going to attempt to negotiate the roundabout in MK to visit me next time!
