Before sunset

April is a month of magnificent sunsets, and tonight was no exception. As the sun started to drop towards the horizon I thought that all of the clouds would be lit up and this is the 'before' picture. The photo is about 30 minutes before the sun disappeared over the horizon, and 15 minutes before the amazing pinks and oranges and yellows lit the sky. By the time the colours came half of the clouds had disappeared and some of the clouds had combined all in about twenty minutes with no wind on the ground or in the sky.
