Christmas Eve we usually go to a friend's house for a bit of a party. It's a lovely way to start Christmas - I try to get all the Christmas preparations done ready to go there for the evening and relax before the big day. Unfortunately, as is often the case, not everything was done, so I had to come home and do a few last minute things before retiring to bed. Unfortunately, I only took a couple of photos and neither were very good, but I didn't want to miss a day so this one made it in.
