The sunshine returns...

After yesterday’s soaking rain, the sun is back and slowly drying things out. Everything looks so green today. One of the newest things I noticed coming to life in my garden is the lilac bush. You can see it has not quite bloomed yet but I am sure it will just be a matter of days now with all that rain we had.
I seem to have fought off the threatening cold I felt coming on last night. It is the second time that I thought for sure I was getting sick and then after a good night’s sleep it disappeared. I am very grateful. I did not want to spend the weekend feeling sick.
The next couple of days are supposed to be warm and sunny so I’m looking forward to being outside and enjoying the weather.

Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
