Art Under Attack

This evening four of the five Norwich Dandies went to a fascinating lecture given by Marcus Dickey Horley of Tate Modern about artworks which had been under attack from members of the public. Marcus is an excellent speaker, both knowledgeable and also entertaining so if you ever get the chance to hear him speak I would highly recommend it.

My friend and fellow Dandie, Eloise, made a drawing of the artworks featured in his talk and gave it to him as a memento afterwards when we went for a chat and drink with him. He was absolutely delighted with it, as you can see.

He is also a big fan of the Norwich Dandies, having been aware of the Dandies as individuals and as a collective for several years and was very impressed by the exhibition that we are currently hosting at St Margaret's Church of Art on St Benedict's Street in Norwich which features not only the work of the Dandies but of several other artists.

We also got an amazing review from Disability Arts Online. Do please click on the link and read it.
