Isla's back!

Isla has returned for a long weekend and was very happy to come for a run round the woods.
A wet, cold morning led us to deal with some serious domestic chores and a whole heap of cooking. The afternoon was rather better(still cold though!) and MaggieD went off to visit Ali and Eve while I started repainting the kitchen. A little later I went down in time to meet Euan from nursery school. While he is not quite 100% yet, Ali felt he was good to go back and ought not to be kept off.
Earlier this evening we popped up to Dunblane and into M&S for the meal deal. On the way we witnessed a rather sad little incident. At a roundabout, a hen pheasant had been hit and was lying dead on the road but a half dozen or so little chicks were scattering to the four winds! Poor wee cheepers!
