Looking at things in a different light.

Today we headed across the city to meet Rie's sister and family. Her nephew is the same age as the Chief so we are taking a trip to the Sea Life Centre with them, on one of Tokyo bay's islands. Very lovely people and our first Tokyo bus, it's been all Metro so far. It's a welcome chance to catch a sea breeze and view the city from a different perspective slightly detached from the high rises and sky scrapers.
The crowds and the darkness of the aquarium are a little too much for Scooter Boy so we end up on the little tourist train that takes a tour of the surroundings. Great timing! As we round into Tokyo Bay the sun is starting to set across the City and I quickly fish out the camera to snap this. It was a lovely setting, really peaceful with a park on the other side where day trippers were packing up their picnics. It's a city of contrasts for sure.
