A nurse's voyage!

Last week in the Emergency Room!

Ello!
So I can't believe I've finished my last week in A+E crazy how fast its gone! It has been a very short week because some of us are going to another Island tommorow called Buraki. It looks amazing and really pretty so looking forward to it! When we get back on Sunday I'll tell you all about it :-)

Its been a fantastic couple of weeks I've met some really lovely nurses who have looked after me and mentored me. I got to observe and also help out in so many things from the end result of road traffic accidents (being intoxicated while attempting to drive a motorbike without a helmet is never a good thing) to being involved in CPR which was very upsetting but its helped me get over that particular hurdle in my training. I did my first and last night shift yesterday which went ok not the best shift in the world and also managed to lock myself out of the house so one of the helpers had to come and save me, had to happen to me at 1 in the morning but hey! It was good though to see what the night shift was like.

This week I've also been swimming in the local pool which likes to play really loud remix dance music so strange... but the pool lights up in the evening which is super cool!

As you can see from the photo I've caught a slight tan haha looking quite rough there have to say probably from the 7 o'clock starts! The 2 lovely ladies in the photo were also students, they were so nice and asked me so many questions!

Not much to say really about this week sorry! One thing though which will make you chuckle we bought some rum today for the weekend and it was 79pesos that's about £1.09 so now i know what im going to buy everyone for prezzies haha!

Muchos lovos :-) x

p.s. still missing you all don't worry
